The Affiliation
Affilired is one of the first travel performance marketing agencies established in 2007. They specialize in managing CPA campaigns for travel companies, sending international traffic to their websites and increasing their online direct sales.
The primary goal of the affiliation is to increase revenue and return on investment (ROI) gains. The details of the affiliate marketing campaigns are as follows:
- Promote the hotel management group and its two brands (Marco Polo Hotels and Niccolo Hotels), as a leading award-winning Asian hotel company with all properties rated as 4 or 5-star category accommodation
- 6% commission to the advertising publishers that work with Affilired
- High quality promotional materials such as banners, offer details, voucher codes and text links, etc are provided to the publishers
Deliverables
My marketing team comes up with the offers and decides on the main campaign images.
As the Digital Marketing Executive, my task includes:
- Creating and distributing advertising banners in various sizes
- Ensuring the offer details, such as validity, promotional rates and terms & conditions, are error-free
- Consolidating sales validations (by removing invalid sales such as no-show and cancelled bookings, and correcting room rates, etc) for the hotels and submitting them to Affilired

“APAC Best Rookie Award”: Criteria and Shortlist
The award goes to the best performing campaign for those companies who have joined Affillired in the last 12 months. The shortlist is based purely on revenue generated by companies which have been live since June 2016.
The nominees are: Amara Hotels & Resorts, Marco Polo Hotels and Plaza Premium Lounge by Swiss-belhotel International.

For Pure Performance Marketing with Revenue and ROI Gains
18 May 2017 (Hong Kong) – Celebrating 10 years of pure performance marketing, travel performance agency Affilired has presented Marco Polo Hotels with the “Asia Pacific Best Rookie Award 2017” at its annual APAC Awards presentation, held recently in Bangkok, Thailand.
Affilired was tasked by Marco Polo Hotels to increase the hotel group’s visibility online. Qualifying for the award, Marco Polo’s various group-wide tactical campaigns yielded the best performance amongst all new partners over the past 12 months, and was identified as the leader in the category based on revenue earnings per campaign since mid 2016.
